2005
Dayinsure was established as a new limited company with Aviva as the sole insurance provider and our first policy is sold online in June.
2007
The RAC pioneered short-term Roadside Assistance to compliment Dayinsure policies, a partnership which has stood the test of time and is still in fruition more than 10 years later.
2009
We turned our attention to producing a more fit-for-purpose product, offering cover for vans, which has been a huge success and is still one of our most popular products.
2010
Motorhomes were included in our insurance following the success of our van cover, meaning that you can insure your motorhome for short term trips whenever you need to.
2012
In 2012 the fast increase in staff meant that we relocated to the multi award winning village of Tarporley in Cheshire. Trustpilot also became our Customer Review service provider with our first 5 star review. 2012 also marked the launch of Dayinsure Learner, the first 2-hour micro duration for learners which was embraced by the market immediately.
2014
Dayinsure sponsored the successful ‘Help for Heroes’ Lands End to John O’Groats cycle ride by covering all expenses so that all money raised could go directly to the cause.
2015
Dayinsure began its journey to be a world class employer by winning ‘Investors in People’ Gold standard with the first attempt.
2016
The Dayinsure Wales Rally GB is the first Global motorsport event with Dayinsure as title sponsor. This gave the company 600 hours of TV coverage in 156 countries and a huge sense of excitement amongst our team. This year also marked us being awarded 3 International standards from the BSI, ISO 9001 Quality Management, ISO 14001 Environment, ISO 27001 Data Security.
2018
Dayinsure sponsored the Joshua Tree Charity with a London to Paris cycle challenge over 3 days. With 50% of our staff taking part and completing the ride, we managed to raise more than £25,000 for the charity. 2018 also saw us send a rally car down the world’s longest zip wire for a never-before-seen #SkyDriver stunt at Slate Mountain in North Wales as a promotion for the Dayinsure Wales Rally GB.
2019
Dayinsure became the title sponsor of the Dayinsure World Rally Cross of GB held at Silverstone Circuit, a fun-packed weekend of rallying, music and street food marking many more exciting things to come from Dayinsure in the future.
2020
Dayinsure launched a new short term car insurance app offering customers a quick and easy way to arrange temporary car insurance, whilst on the go, at just the touch of a button.
2021
Dayinsure became part of the Abacai Group.
2022
We won the feefo Gold Trusted Service Award.
